Palazzo delle Esposizioni
Via Nazionale, 194 - Roma
From the 10/04/2019 to the 06/01/2020
Works and documents relating to the activity of a group of Hungarian dissident artists, dating back to the Sixties and Seventies, will be exhibited and collected and placed in safety by the Ludwig Museum in Budapest.
The exhibition will talk about the "evasion techniques" that put in place by the authors to escape the controls, to stun the censorship, to evade power, mock it and leave it banned.
A story of wonderful and moving art, as always are the stories of clandestinity and subterfuge, escape and avoidance.
The exhibition inaugurates a series of exhibition events designed to enhance and deepen the heritage of important contemporary archives
