The artist's research becomes an obsession: that of making the ancient statues "palpitate", which have come to us almost never intact, as he himself declares: "Looking for what is missing, what is not seen, looking for the infinite in the fragment ". Travel all over Europe, visit the museums to find the statues of which not all the fragments but the fragility, focusing on the break, the fault, in the moment in which that detail "is touched by natural light
He captures them when they are hit by a ray of sunshine through a window or door, he visits them at different times of the day, month after month, season after season. Immobility becomes movement, the cold material of marble revives with the deception of the mimetic effect
