A rich selection of paintings and sculptures reveals the strong political and cultural link between the Spanish court and the 17th century Italian states.
The exhibition features many works of art, including the magnificent Bernini Crucifix coming from the Monastery of San Lorenzo del Escorial, rarely accessible to the general public, Salomè by Caravaggio, the famous Jacob and the flock of Labano by José de Ribera, The Tunica of Giuseppe, by the great artist Velázquez just to name a few.
